NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
January 26, 2026

Notice is given of the Annual Meeting to be held on Monday January
26, 2026 at the upper hall in the Tavistock Arena beginning at 8 pm
The purpose of this meeting of the Tavistock Agricultural Society is to
review the 2025 activities, approval of previous AGM, review of the
financial statement and auditors report.
Directors that have completed their term of office are Rick Lange,
Stephanie McDonald. Director term of office is 4 years with 25% of the
director positions up for election each year and shall be eligible for re-
election at the end of the 4(four) year term. Nominations for the vacant
positions will be accepted prior to the meeting or at the meeting.
Eligible candidates must be member of the Society and have reached the
age of 18. The position of Treasurer is open as well and must be a
director of the Society. For full information it is available in the
Constitution and By-Laws of the Agricultural Society
The Annual OAAS Convention is February 19-21 2026 at the Sheraton
Parkway Hotel, Richmond Hill. Early bird registration rates are $199
for 3 day and $175 for 1 day payable by the Agricultural Society by
February 1.
Memberships $6.00 can be paid by exact amount to Julie Kimpel at the
meeting or by e-transfer to taspayments856@gmail.com
The 2027 theme for the fair will be chosen by members at the meeting.
