Over the past two years we have followed all guidelines provided by Public Health, Local and Federal Governments. We will continue to follow all guidelines throughout the summer and fall. Should anything change that will alter Fair weekend, notice of the changes will be provided via www.tavistocktallfair.com, Facebook and Instagram.

2021 FAIR GOING VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON

The Board of Directors of the Tavistock Agricultural Society announces the partial
postponement of the 2021 fair, originally scheduled for September 10-12, 2021 until
September 9-11, 2022. Farm to Table will be the theme in 2022.
This decision was made at our April board meeting with consideration from information
from government agencies. Since then we have been working with our membership to
provide virtual competitions as well as agricultural events. We are working closely with
the Southwestern Board of Health and will be following the protocols put in place for
September. The safety of our community, visitors, members, volunteers and vendors is
our primary concern. With this in mind and the vaccine rollout progressing really well it
is our hope that there will be a cattle show and horse competition with our Hunter show
and a display of goats.
As a Tavistock Fair family, we love bringing our community together to celebrate and
promote agriculture. With this in mind, our Board of Directors and volunteers will be
working on different ways to continue to celebrate and educate about agriculture in our
community such as agricultural videos. Please follow our social media channels and our
website, www.tavistockfallfair.com for online content in the coming months.
The Tavistock Agricultural Society is so thankful for the support from our community.
Over the past 168 years, the Tavistock Fair has overcome many challenges and this is no
different. We will get through this together and look forward to seeing everyone in
2022.

Sincerely,
Julie Kimpel
President
